Using Chinese models to nowadays his new haute couture collection, the Lebanese-born designer put on an elegant evidence for 2019/2020
On the eve of Elie Saab's 2019/2020 couture show, a group of young models waited for a fitting inside his atelier on Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Paris, including a handful of Chinese girls.

Long before being crowned king of the scarlet carpet, Saab had already won the hearts of royalty.
Queen Rania of Jordan chose a Elie Saab gown for her coronation ceremony in 1999, while Princess Claire of Luxembourg picked out one of his dresses for her hymeneals. Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, and Stephanie, Hereditary Yard Duchess of Luxembourg, are counted among his loyal fans.

His most breathtaking designs are unquestionably the four outfits he designed for Christina Mourad, who wednesday his son, Elie Saab Jnr, in a Maronite ceremony in July.
The wedding gown comprised an embroidered dress in ivory and lurex silk and a iv.five-metre-long train bedecked with 500,000 sequins. Held northeast of Beirut, the ceremony was one of the land's major social events and was attended by high-profile Lebanese and Hollywood figures, including Lebanon'due south Prime Minister Saad Hariri, singer Julia Boutros and dancer, model, singer and actress Dita Von Teese.
